American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her career as an actress in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she played reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt as well as a supporting part in the short-lived television series The Ex List. She played Kaylee as a young Moira in the first season of on FX's American Horror Story. She was Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead and Sophie on NBC's This Is Us. She also voices several characters in Family Guy's animated comedy. Since the year 2019, she has appeared as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was raised in Darien in Connecticut. She relocated to California with her mother when she was of 10. They moved around for one year before they finally settled in Mill Valley. Breckenridge became attracted to acting, photography and singing when she was 13. Breckenridge moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 to pursue a career in acting.
