Molly was born in Pennsylvania and began to work professionally when she was a teenager in Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her debut professional show was The Snow Queen. Then, she played Little Red Ridinghood for the Arden Theater s Into the Woods and was nominated to win a Barrymore Award. Following her Broadway debut, at just 15, she reprised her part and was awarded a Drama League Award. Molly was also in the cast of the Broadway revival Fiddler on the Roof, in 2004. Following her graduation from Princeton University, where she was awarded a B.A. in Religion. She also became a Triangle Club member, Molly attended Princeton University. in Religion.
